The Hoover pumpkin patch

Last November when we were done with our pumpkins we threw them out back in the dog pin (which we don't use for the dogs..it was here before we moved in) for the squirrels to eat...little did we know that they would bury the seeds..and now we have our own pumpkin patch!! We are moving out the first part of September and the pumpkins will probably not be ready to pick so Vivian (who owns the house..we rent it..if you didn't know) said we could come back and pick them. There are probably going to be just 4 to 6 of them!!

Stripping & Sanding..

So we are doing a little (little is understated) project here at the Hoover household! Brian's Aunt Tracy give us her old bedroom suit that she had when she was a little girl for Reesie for her new bedroom! It is a really nice bedroom suit..it has a full size bed that is a canopy and a full size dresser with a cute little mirror that goes on top and a night stand...there was just one problem with it..its color!!! The color is very out dated so we are going to paint it white..and what a job that is!! It well look really cute when it gets done. So I am hoping to have it done by next weekend!! Our friend Jerry has been helping us..what a good friend..we pay him back by food hehehe :) Here are some pics of the work in progress....will post the finished project when done!!

August 31st !!!

Well we have our scheduled "walk through" date for the house on August 31st...I am so stinkin excited!!! So it looks like we will be moving in the 2nd week of September! We went down to the house last night (I know shocking..right Cindy) :) and they were spraying the trim so I couldn't take any pics but our cabinets and counter tops are in and I have to say it looks beautiful!!! Brian and I just walk through in aww because we can't believe we are home owners..we never thought this day would come for us..we have worked very hard to get out of financial situation we were in! So now its back to packing!!:)

The Fourth in Balitmore

This year for the 4th of July we went to see Mike and Julie and the girls in Baltimore..Pam and Jeff (Brian's parents) went too..we had a great time! We went to Georgetown & D.C and to the Inner Harbor...and one night for dinner Mike and Julie treat us to Maryland crab..yummy! I had never eaten crab that way before!!

house update

I can't believe that we have walls now...things are starting to move fast now!!



Reese loves going to the new house...she especially loves going up the stairs and and running round the house...so cute!! and when we leave to go home she always waves bye bye to the house:)
