"our little Jessie"

I know trick or treat is a week away but.. I thought since it is a beautiful day that I would take some pics of Reese in her Jessie costume. She loves this costume, I tried to get her to wear one of the Disney princess but no go! I definitely have a little tom boy on my hands (which is fine, believe it or not I was too..no dresses just give me my jeans!) I tried to get her to hold her Woody, Jessie and Bulls-eye dolls but she wanted to hold the black cat..oh well:)

Yes I am alive!!!

YES I AM ALIVE!! I know it has been awhile once again since I have been on here...but life got a little crazy for us with the move and all! But we are all moved in and getting settled. This past weekend my parents and my brother came for a visit..we were suppose to go to Cedar Point on Sunday but decided to pass because it was going to be cold up there so instead we went to Circle S farms and had a great time. Reese was so cute this year there..last year when we went she was only 8 months old she had a good time but this year she was everywhere and loved it..especially the barn with the hay and slides!! Here are some pics of our fun day (the slide ones didn't turn out so well) I have this same picture of Reese and I last year...wow how much she has grown!!last year when she stood next to this she was around the 2 markshe loves to drive the tractor!!she searched for the right pumpkin:)

painting!!

This weekend I was determined to get Reese's bedroom furniture all painted..so I could cross it off my "to do" list. Brian and I went and got the paint on Friday..Saturday morning I got up early and went and got Jerry around 9:30..he offered to help me paint because Brian was going down to the new house to lay sod with Chris. We got started on the painting around 10:30 and painted all stinking day until about 8pm...let me tell you what a job this has turned out to be..we primed the furniture first (that took about 2 coats) then we painted it which took about 3 coats! We got the dresser,night stand,and this little stand that sits on the dresser that holds the mirror and the head board done...and I have to say they look great!! I still have the foot board, the mirror and all the rails for the canopy still to do!! ugh!! Sunday we had a birthday party to go to at 11:30..we didn't get back home until 2:30p! I started to work on the furniture...but my back was killing me so I decided to stop for now! I will be very happy when it is all done and I can cross it off my list!! :)
My goal is to have it done by this coming weekend!! I will post pics of it soon :)

3 months to go!!

Guess where I will be in 3 months from today????? give up!! seeing "NEW MOON"!!! Date night with Edward!!:) I can't wait to see it!:)

Warehouse or House???

I can't believe that less then 5 weeks we will be moving!! I have been so busy packing that our house is starting to look like a warehouse!!:) This move is a lot different from any other move we have ever done before because we are also moving a third person..and this little person has so much stuff! Plus its really interesting packing with her because you put stuff in a box and she takes it out..its become a game..and its is much fun to play..NOT!!:) But we are getting so excited about moving..the new house is looking great and we can't wait for all that room (I will post some pics next blog...need to take some new ones!) We will be busy painting and moving boxes starting September 8th (its also the day we close on the house) and on Saturday the 12th is the BIG move (yea I know its the BIG game of the year..but it is also a night game)! So I still have a lot to do...here's my list:

1. finish packing up the bathroom
2. and kitchen (its pretty much all packed except for things we still use)
   
3. and basement (is almost done)
   
4. paint Reese's bedroom furniture
   
5. plus every weekend from now to we move we have to work at the house on our "work equality" stuff

Needless to say the days I don't have to work I am packing..thank god its almost over..but then its time to unpack..ugh!!

The Ohio State Fair!!

This year I was so lucky that I got to go to the fair two days in a row!! But I forgot my camera the first day (I know that should have been the first thing in the car besides Reese and the stroller) but I remembered it the second day :) On Monday Reese and I and my friend Michael went..we had so much fun!! Reese had so much fun she loved loved loved the horses (she takes after me..when I was little I used to show horses with my dad) and she loved milking the cow..last year she was to little to really milk it!! Then on Tuesday morning I woke her up by saying "Reesie do you want to go back and see the horses?" She got up and went right to the back door still in her pj's and looked at me like "come on mommy lets go" it was so cute!!! That day we went with Jerry... we ate and ate some yummy fried food and tried a deep fried buckeye..I have to say it was ok. We went and saw the horses and the cows and goats and sheep again.... but this day she got to ride a horse and loved it!! She got to meet Smokey the Bear ...she kept saying "hi ..bear".. and blowing him kisses ..it was so cute!! The weather was great both days not too HOT..thank god!! I can't wait to go back next year with her!!!
